So yeah. it's been awhile. la di dah.

I have a complaint. The anger has been growing for quite some time now, and I'd just like to expose my frustration before it becomes an insurmountable problem and causes me to commit hate crimes.

The issue is Van Halen.

Apparently, radio stations seem to think Van Halen is cooler than ever before, so they are supersaturating their little shows with a large quantity of Diamond Dave and the Red Rocker. It's just too much Van Halen. There are actually days now when I don't hear Stairway to Heaven a single time! Don't get me wrong, that may not be such a bad thing, but don't fill those empty 8 minutes 3 seconds with 3 Van Halen jingles everyday. Now, I happen to love Van Halen, and I understand that the band needs its air time, but come on people! Get a grip and play me some Aqualung! (by jethro tull, that is)

When I was a kid, I used to think, "There's a lady who short.  All that glitters is gold.  And she's buying a stairway to heaven."  It made sense.  Being vertically challenged, she needed that stairway to heaven.  Perfect sense.

Same is happening here in Texas. They are flooding the airwaves with Smashing Pumpkins and Alice in Chains, all because the two are reuniting and making another album along with a tour.

I like them both, but good lord, 10 times in 8 hours? It's a bit excessive.

oh my gosh that is SOOOO funny. At Callahan's, one of the cooks and I would joke about Van Halen every day. So much so that we would actually call in to radio stations and request Panama. A song we already heard at least 5 times a day. And don't call in a request to hear "Aqualung" because apparently there's a new terrible band out who call themselves Aqualung which is a huge disgrace to Jethro Tull if you ask me

yes I had kicked around the idea of having it take up my entire face. Option B will be on my shoulder muscle. It's a toss up at this point. It will be about the size of an orange. Do you really like it? :)

How did I miss your post? Well, whatever happened...I really wish it hadn't.  It has been so very long since I have had a chance to read a "new" post by Andrea!  Hey girlie, give me your email address again.  The one you gave me came back undeliverable...I have pictures to send you.

As for Van Halen...well, I really do love them.  I hardly get a chance to listen to the radio anymore, since I am not driving.  When I am at home, I am usually studying or catering to Dan. The latter is something I love to do, but between the two...I have little time to listen to music.  Now that I think about it...I do miss it!  We need to go to Chiefs bar and sing, soon!  I was so thrilled to see you the week-end before last!  It made me very happy that you showed your lovely face!  Sorry we did not get to yack!  Next time, though!

I just finished packing for my Virginia trip. I leave in the morning. I am pretty excited!  Talk to you upon my return, sweets.
